Joseph Scrimshaw is a comedian and writer. He has been a guest at several Gallifrey One events, leading to his inclusion in the first two live shows held at the convention. Scrimshaw appeared at the 2017 and 2018 events as Peri and the First Doctor respectively.
In September 2020, Scrimshaw appeared as the previous Doctor, making his debut on the show proper.
In addition to his contribution to the live shows, he's written for a number of projects including RiffTrax and ScreenJunkies' The Roast of Captain America, in which he also played Superman. He is a writer on the Adult Swim series Tigtone.
