The Doctor is the name chosen by a renegade Time Lord who travels through time and space in a stolen TARDIS.

History[]

The Doctor's history prior to their appearance in The Game of Rassilon can be found on the TARDIS Data Core.

The Plan[]

Immediately following the Doctor's regeneration into the War Doctor, he learned about the schism that had occurred betweenm the Time Lords and the Sisterhood of Karn. This Doctor promised that the rift between their peoples must be set right. The Twelfth Doctor briefly revisited this idea once he returned to Gallifrey. Both incarnations had other pressing matters to attend to at the time. (Perfection)

A later incarnation of the Doctor, having lost a companion, questioned whether it would be right to change the timeline to set right that loss. Another Doctor weighed in on the value of extending an olive branch of peace to mend an old emnity.

Working with Romana towards the end of his life, and largely informed by the experiences of his successor, the Previous Doctor began to plan the fall of Rassilon and the restoration of a whole society made of Time Lords and the Sisterhood of Karn. He then journeyed to Skaro with his successor, where they mended the timeline and triggered his regeneration.

The Running Phase[]

Upon regenerating into the Riley!Doctor, she awoke to find she had no memory of how she had regenerated, and a note affixed to her jacket that said, simply, "Run". She rescued Amelia Earhart and Travis Killian from their status as museum pieces in the 51st century, vowing to take them home.
